Hi everyone. I built a file converter because the current options are either paywalled, force you into a "free trial" with credit card required, or feel sketchy about where your data ends up. So I built CapyConvert: https://capyconvert.com The idea is simple — conversions happen in your browser. Your files never get uploaded anywhere. Nothing leaves your machine. Supports images (PNG, JPG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF), audio (MP3, WAV, FLAC), video (MP4, WebM, MOV), documents, and more. Batch convert works too. It's free. No limits. No account. No "5 conversions per day" nonsense. I launched it today so it's still early. Some formats are missing and I'm adding more as I go. Would love feedback: How does it feel to use? Any bugs? What formats or conversions should I add next? Thanks for checking it out. submitted by /u/Internet_Treasure [link] [comments]
